| JOB BOARD |
This page provides instructions and options for the View, Post, and Edit functions for the Job Board (these functions can also be accessed directly from the menus).

| VIEW - list Position, Organization, Location, Closing Date and Job Type (with links to other details) for all jobs posted in the database, based on the following Select and Sort options. Note that any settings you previously saved to the database are automatically loaded with this page. |
| You can list all Job postings or you can select Jobs postings by specific Regions (based on the first letter of the postal code), Job Types, or Dates below (use Ctrl+click or Shift+click to select multiple entries in the Region or Job Type lists). |

| By default, the job list will be sorted by Closing Date and sub-sorted by Location, Organization, Position, and Job Type. Use the control below to change the sort order as desired. You can also re-sort the listing once it's displayed on the View page. (Note: Dates are always listed in descending order, the other fields in ascending order.) |

| Click VIEW to display Job postings based on the settings above... but first, you may want to SAVE your Select and Sort settings so they become the defaults next time you log in. RESET will restore the settings to their original values (when this page was loaded). |

| Once the job list is displayed, the Position title will serve as a link to detailed information, and the Organization name will be linked to the organization's website, if available. |

| POST - post a new job advertisement. Once your information is verified, it will be available to all registered alumni and sent by email to those who have enabled the job notification option. This service is provided at no charge; the only requirement is that you agree to maintain our Code of Conduct. |

EDIT - editing of Job Postings is limited to the following:
- Employers - Editing is possible when adding your own Job Posting to the database, after which you can email the sitemaster or any Fleming Geomatics Faculty with revisions to your Job Posting data.
- Faculty - Afterwards, faculty members can log in and revise Job Posting data by clicking the EDIT button at the bottom of the Job Posting's information page (available to faculty only).
