POST - submit a Request for a GIS Co-operative Project on this site.
This is a three step process: 1. Enter details re your Request for Project. 2. Specify a new or existing client organization. 3. Specify a new or existing contact for that organization.
You can also submit your request by downloading the PDF or Word version of our Project Request Form, completing it off-line, and then sending it back to us by email, fax, or regular mail.
Either way, your Request for Project will be inserted into our database. Once approved by the faculty member serving as Project Liaison, your project will be made accessible on this site and a detailed notification message will be sent by email to Geomatics faculty and students, with a copy to you.
Please refer to our GIS Co-operative Project Summary for information regarding client/student responsibilities and project timeline. A slightly-condensed version of the Project Summary in PDF format is also available,

EDIT - update Co-op Project data.
At this time, co-op project editing is limited to the following:
- Clients - project data can be revised online only during the submission of your request. To revise project data after submission, please contact the Project Liaison. For technical issues related to this site, please email the sitemaster.
- Students - when your project nears completion, your faculty advisor will grant your team access to your project data so you can add the required documentation, such as: project URL, workflow, software, notes on data and deliverables, and project summary and recommendations.
- Faculty - the Project Liaison is automatically notified of each project request, and is responsible to work with the client to clarify project requirements if necessary before approving the project. Once approved, the project will be available online and notification will be sent by email to students, faculty, and the client. Afterwards, the project advisor can revise project data by clicking the EDIT button at the bottom of a project information page (available to faculty only).
